Welcome to our NEW Daycare Program - 30 Months to School Age!!!
Our new daycare program features our same Preschool Programming, but with the changed license type, we are allowed to offer more care hours to meet the needs of parents requiring 5+ hours of care. As well, it is now eligible for the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) to keep your childcare fees affordable!
We still have a 'Preschool Programming Only' option for those only wanting 2.5 hours of pure curriculum. But for those of you wanting your children to be in care for up to 5.5 hours, we have nap time, more free time, and another activity block.
Our curriculum is based on a mixed philosophy incorporating Montessori, Regio, and Play based activities. With a goal of introducing the future years of grade school, there is enough structure incorporated to get the children ready for kindergarten and elementary school, but also time for unstructured play.
Our objective is to develop positive self esteem and confidence while learning to interact with new friends. Confidence is gained by practicing basic life skills like tying half knots, bows and folding while having successful peer interactions. Play allows children to use their creativity, develop their imagination, and develop physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
We have designed our program to allow children to create, explore, and learn about nature and their environment and neighbourhood.
