Before & After School Care Information:

Choosing Childcare with Block 8 Academy means choosing a licensed, established childcare centre that allows for multiple subsidies including 
The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative and the 
Affordable Child Care Benefit. 

Our Before and After School program is not "just daycare". It's a dynamic experience! Kids engage in community adventures, explore the wonders of science, and enjoy thoughtfully planned activities. We encourage leadership and social connections while fostering resilience, empathy, social and emotional skills.

Mondays: Outdoor Science
Tuesdays: Community
Wednesdays: Music & Drama
Thursdays: Entrepreneurship & Financial Awareness
Fridays: Multicultural Learning

Students are dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon from

Moody Elementary,
Porter Street Elementary, and
Seaview Elementary schools.

We also happily accept afternoon drop-offs for children attending other schools or being homeschooled.

Before School care opens at 7am
After School pick up until 5:30 or 6:00 pm
(depending on location)

We have three after-school locations:

2626 Spring Street
36 Seaview Drive
