Music Across The Galaxy: Group Music Classes ($11.25 per class) Tue or Thur 9:30am
Come join us for a rich, joyful, engaging journey across the galaxy with music in our beautifully renovated facility conveniently located in the centre of Port Moody!
Children sing songs, dance to music from around the world, chant rhymes, play instruments and have a lot of fun! Students will develop basic skills of musicianship such as keeping the beat, singing in-tune, and awareness of dynamics in music. The children also learn about the instruments of different countries, and of the orchestra. They will listen to folk tunes, world music, and the classics from Bach, Beethoven and Mozart.
Students will progress through the different planet groups as they get older, from Pluto all the way to the Sun!
