Our Summer campers enjoy weekly beach trips and adventures throughout our community such as private tours at museums, art galleries, and fish hatcheries, as well as trips to Rocky Point Park, and swimming, bowling and parkour in the community. We also have free play time, arts and crafts and opportunities for new friends and social and emotional learning!

UME Game Design camps are a great balance of activities for artists, makers and game enthusiasts alike! We stay active and have fun with team games, brain games, sports, art creation, and of course, making our own game designs (on and off computer). Students learn to design their own video games with Unity3D, the software of choice for top game developers, scientists and engineers! Participants will learn design skills, problem solving and team collaboration, while developing pre-coding computational thinking skills. This is truly a behind-the-scenes glimpse into tools and technology used by the pro’s and a great balance of activities for game enthusiasts! All hardware and software included.

At SFU Burnaby we offer a variety of camps, all of which strive to bring university level science to students in grades K-9. This year, each age category will offer 3 uniquely themed camps, giving every camper the opportunity to participate in one or more weeks of Science AL!VE, without overlap!
We will also be offering pre-care from 7:30am-8:30am ($5/day) and post-care from 3:30pm-5:30pm ($10/day).
This year, join us with SCInnovation, as we experiment, explore, build, create and hypothesize ideas in science. Campers will engage in activities that foster innovation and imagination through inquiry based learning and exploration.

Mini X-treme Environments
Delve into the world of weather and extreme environments and learn how life on Earth has adapted to live everywhere from the deepest parts of the oceans to the highest mountain peaks and icescapes to molten lava. Learn how different organisms have adapted to these extreme environments and how humans, with the help of engineering, may be able to live there in the future.
Mini Radical Reactions
Chemistry doesn’t just matter...it is matter! This explosively exciting chemistry camp will feature our favourite reactive experiments while teaching campers all about the molecules that make up everything on Earth. Campers will get to be chemists for a week and run their very own experiments.
Mini Innovators

- The camp will run out of the Taekwondo school from 9am to 3pm daily. The cost of the camp is $245 + GST (payment or credit card number must be submitted together with application
- Each day will offer a mixture of Taekwondo instruction and fun activities. Students will have the opportunity to practice their required elements each day, which means that by the end of the week, they will have had the equivalent of 4 weeks of regular training. Every day will also include an outdoor excursion. The extracurricular activities include swimming, bowling, Laser Tag, KoKo's Activity Centre, and a day at the park. There will also be an in depth focus on Self Defense, with emphasis put on our Stranger Safety and Street Sense system.
- Participants must bring their own lunch and Taekwondo uniform each day of the camp. A camp t-shirt will also be provided.

Our program is uniquely designed to allow parents and their kids to customize a schedule and create a personalized summer program. They can take anywhere from one class that runs for a week or a full day of classes (6) for the week.
